Christoph Capital is operated by Christoph Capital Ventures, Inc., a Tennessee corporation. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to Priority Access memberships.
What we collect
Information you give us at checkout. Priority Access payments are processed by Stripe, not by this website. When you purchase Priority Access, Stripe collects your name, email address, and payment card details. Stripe passes your name and email address to us, along with the last four digits of your card and the result of the transaction. We never receive or store your full card number, expiration date, or security code.
Information collected automatically. This site is hosted by Squarespace. Like most websites, it records standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and the pages you view. We use this only to understand basic traffic patterns.
Cookies. Squarespace sets cookies that are necessary for the site to work and, where enabled, cookies that measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.
What we do not collect. This website has no contact form, no newsletter signup, and no account login. We do not ask for your phone number, mailing address, date of birth, or financial account details. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
How we use it
We use your name and email address to confirm your Priority Access membership, send you a welcome message, notify you when the club opens, invite you to early member events, respond when you contact us, and keep records of payments and refunds for accounting and tax purposes.
We do not use your information for automated decision making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make this business run:
- Stripe, which processes payments
- Squarespace, which hosts this website
- Google Workspace, which handles our email
Each of these handles your information under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We may disclose information if we are required to by law, a subpoena, or a valid government request, or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
Email you will receive
If you buy Priority Access, we will email you about your membership and about the club opening. That is the purpose of the purchase. These emails are sent personally rather than through a bulk mailing service, so there is no unsubscribe link. To stop receiving them, reply to any email from us or write to us at the address below and we will remove you from the list. Stopping these emails does not cancel your membership or affect your right to a refund.
How long we keep it
We keep your name and email for as long as you hold a Priority Access membership or a club membership, and afterward only as long as our records require. Payment records are kept for at least seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your information, or stop emailing you. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
If you ask us to delete your information while you hold a Priority Access membership, we will treat that as a request to cancel and refund it, because we cannot deliver the membership without being able to contact you. We will keep the minimum payment records the law requires.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the General Data Protection Regulation. Contact us and we will honor those rights where they apply to you.
Security
We limit who can access your information and we rely on Stripe, Squarespace, and Google for the security of the systems that store it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant and you are a member, we will email you.
